He was born in Artvin in 1952.
After completing his primary school years in Artvin and secondary and high school education in Balıkesir, he graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1976. In the same year, he started his specialization in Ege Medicine Chest Diseases.

He became a Chest Diseases specialist in 1980. He completed his military service between 1981-1983. In 1983, Dr. Chest Diseases Specialist at Suat Seren Chest Hospital. He became the chief of the clinic in 1994 after he started to work as a clinic. In 2002-2005, Dr. He worked as Chief Physician at Suat Seren Chest Hospital. He continued to work as clinical chief from 2005 to 2020.

He has been working as a Chest Diseases Specialist at Private Gazi Hospital since February 2020.
